What is a customized portrait session?
From the moment you contact me, I strive to find out more about you and your family and what you what to achieve with time together. I ask many questions and listen to try to discover who you are, and how I can expose that genuine and authentic side of you. I have found the process of creating an exceptional portrait requires a collaboration between the photographer and the subject therefore I work with my closely with my each of clients. I want to capture each family and their unique relationship and personalities. Together we will decide on a location(s) that is meaningful to you. After our brief phone consultation I will send some more specific and directed questions to help me try to get a more intimate glimpse into your family or your personality.
What is required to book a session?
I require a 50% deposit of the session fee and a signed contract which I will send to you once we have settled on a date, time and location.
What are your prices and why are they not listed?
Our session prices vary based on client needs and type of session. A studio headshot session is priced differently than an on-location family session since the time, equipment and requirements are not the same.
Our print prices: 4x6 - $9.99, 5x7 - $14.99, 8x10 - $24.99 and on up to 20 x 30 prints.
Can I get a copy of your pricing?

and we will send you the base line prices for specific session types as well as a complete list of print prices.
You might notice our session fees are a bit higher than some other photographers, but we do not require a minimum order, and our print prices are much lower than other photographers who charge upwards of $50 - $100 for 8x10 prints and smaller.
I booked a session, now what?
We will send you a questionnaire in order to continue working on creative ideas for how to showcase your family, as well as our standard contract for you to sign. Once you have returned your questionnaire we will call you to discuss some ideas and polish off the final details about wardrobe, location etc.
I am ecstatic about our session, what happens next?
5-10 days after our session, we will send you a link for you to review your proofs. We can also schedule a time for you to come into the studio for a personalized proofing session at no additional charge.
I have friends and family that want to order something as well. Is that possible?
Of course. With our online proofing system, family and friends from around the world can order prints and products with ease.
Do you provide images on a CD? How can I get my photographs on Facebook or my blog?
We give you a low-resolution CD with samples of the highlights from our session together, so you can upload them to Facebook or your blog, but we ask that you leave the copyright mark and do not alter the image with cropping or editing. All of my images are copyright protected. Although the images are of you and your family, they are my creation, and I own the rights to production and distribution. The images I create are artwork and I appreciate your understanding.
Full sized digital images are available on CD for purchase or are included with a minimum order of $1200.
Can I scan my prints once they arrive?

Do you have mini-sessions or run any specials?
A few times a year, I will offer mini-sessions. These take place at one location where I book short 30 minute sessions.
Occasionally I will try out new products, so I might run specials on those products in an effort to try something new and possibly add to the products we offer.
